DANCETRONAUTS Returns to Insomniac’s Electric Daisy Carnival With Bass Station Stage

Dancetronauts returns to the Las Vegas Speedway for their second year at Insomniac’s Electric Daisy Carnival 2014 on June 20th - 22nd with their world-renowned “Bass Station”. Originally brought into the event as the premiere EDC art car, Dancetronauts has taken over the center of the festival with the largest mobile stage in the US.

This 70ft long craft spawned from the creative consciousness of the Burning Man community, boasting 80,000 watts of sound and the world-debut of the ProVision state of the art LED displays. The Dancetronauts resident DJ’s will be playing on the hand crafted stage for 3 nights in a row, tantalizing thousands of attendees along their path with one of the most unique aspects of the EDC experience.

The completely built-in stage is the brain-child of Santa Cruz based Phil Plastina, a sound engineering and speaker design specialist who spent much of his career creating custom speakers for musicians like LL Cool J, Public Enemy, and Gangstar. After moving to California in 1996 and moving through a multitude of design work, Phil set his sights on creating the cleanest sounding sound-systems on earth. His lifetime of work has culminated at the one of a kind “Bass Station” system, which continues to shatter previous conceptions within the world of live sound.

By creating an interactive environment of massive proportions complete with dancers, aerialists, fire, and next-level music, Dancetronauts has become an essential facet Electric Daisy Carnival and important part of the community as a whole. Join us in the center of EDCLV to dance and explore into the morning hours.

The Dancetronauts lineup will include special guest Maki Hsieh, a crossover vocalist/violinist who plays at 10:30PM on Sunday, as well at their residents EJ Tha DJ, Travnasty, and many more.

Dancetronauts recently hosted the sold-out Las Vegas premiere of Insomniac's new feature film "Under the Electric Sky" which showcases the awe and wonder of the EDC experience. Check out the teaser video here.
