Prince Fox Takes over denver
The Larimer Lounge has turned into one of the most intimate venues to get a fair dosage of future bass and trap music following the 1UP’s closure a few weeks back. On Thursday, February 18th, Sam Lassner, better known by his stage name Prince Fox, will be joined by Denver natives StéLouse and Said the Sky as he makes his way through Colorado on his nationwide tour. This group of producers is sure to provide an excellent example of the underground future shows previously showcased at RE:UP Wednesdays highlighted by performances from Jai Wolf, CRNKN, Manila Killa, and Wave Racer.

Prince Fox has solidified himself as one of the pioneers of the “Too Future” scene, racking up over 55k followers on Soundcloud alone with remixes of SNBRN’s “Raindrops” and Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me”. “Raindrops” has accumulated over 5 and a half million Soundcloud plays with “Stay With Me” racking up 2 and a half million and his remix of “You’ve Got the Love” recently breaking a million itself. His most recent release “I Don’t Wanna Love You” has almost reached a million plays in just 2 months and Sam recently took DJ Khalid’s “All I Do is Win” and gave it a future spin that is sure to make for one of the most energetic and engaging live experiences imaginable. If these statistics aren’t a strong enough convincing factor for you to grab your ticket, I’m confident that any one of these songs alone will persuade you into buying you and your friends tickets to an unforgettable evening.

Stélouse has opened for Prince Fox on a number of stops on this tour, and has built up a strong following in Denver after opening for coveted artists such as Illenium, Haywyre and Alison Wonderland. Including a silent disco set at Decadence on New Years Eve, StéLouse continually brings one of the most upbeat and euphoric sets around. Recently breaking 40k Soundcloud followers, his remix of “So High” just reached a million plays. StéLouse has collaborated with the up and coming future sensation Louis the Child on a remix of Chief’s “Inside Out”, which has also racked up over a million Soundcloud plays as well. Along with an opening set from Said the Sky, this show is sure to be nothing short of spectacular. Said the Sky recently released an official remix of ATB’s “Flash” that perfectly exemplifies the melodic capabilities this intelligent young producer possesses. His most well known song “Darling” has already reached over 3.5 million plays and counting. He has teamed up with Illenium on many tracks including “Falling” and recently provided one of the best direct support acts at the Fox Theatre just a few weeks back. I can guarantee that you will definitely want to be in attendance for this set as it won’t be long before Said the Sky is selling out shows all across Colorado.
All in all, the Larimer Lounge is surely the spot to be on February 18th. Tickets are a mere $15 before fees so I strongly encourage buying yours while supplies still last. I can guarantee this will be one of the best shows of the month and there is truly no better lineup that you could ask for. Doors open at 8PM and as mentioned before, you definitely want to arrive early to experience this show to it’s fullest potential. I look forward to an awesome night full of such a loving crowd and with the help of fans like yourself we can help bring back the future shows that we all enjoyed so much.
