Just one week after premiering on W&W’s Mainstage Music Radio show – and gathering support from David Guetta, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Audien, Blasterjaxx, Gareth Emery, Swanky Tunes, Andrew Rayel, VINAI and of course W&W – Texan duo Tritonal finally release their hotly anticipated new track ‘Ginsu’.
After racking up 3 Billboard Top Dance Top 10s across the course of 2014, it was imperative for Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed to kick off the new year in the same style – and with Ginsu, it looks like they’re firmly on course to do just that and more. A sharp, twisting, weaving, epic club instrumental that soars euphorically through cascading synth, rhythm and bass lines, the cut is a supreme flashback to their earlier discography. In the same vein as ‘Suzu’ and ‘Slave’, if the torrent of SoundCloud comments from last week’s preview is any indicator, ‘Ginsu’ has already proven itself a huge hit with fans.
“When we started ‘Ginsu’, we wanted to capture the melodic energy of some of the trance records we had so much fun making in the past such as ‘Slave’ and ‘Suzu’,” Chad Cisneros explained. “Although we’ve moved away from that sound, we think we nailed the spirit of those days while delivering a super charged melody that will rock most of our sets for 2015.”
Tritonal ‘Ginsu’ on Mainstage Music out now exclusively through Beatport (all other outlets to follow 03/09/2015).
