Twenty-year-old DJ/producer Madeon has revealed a brand new track, “Imperium,” which is available for fans who play and complete a special game HERE. The track, which has already seen over 1 million combined online streams and has been featured on the new FIFA 15 video game, will be included on Madeon’s upcoming debut album, due early next year via Columbia Records.
Discussing the new track, Madeon said: “Imperium is probably one of the hardest sounding songs I've made. It was inspired by the past couple of years of touring around the world. My intention was to write something that was fuelled by the energy of dance music but with a narrative element. It doesn't sound like anything else on the album yet it's an important part of it, it's the transition between two phases. I wanted to capture the feeling of ‘confidently walking into adversity.’ (Also it's a fun track.)”

Madeon has spent 2014 writing and recording his upcoming debut album, while also performing to huge crowds across the world at major festivals including SW4 and Global Gathering in the UK, Arenal Sound, Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas plus a headline show at Electric Zoo in New York. Outside of his own project, he has worked with artists including Ellie Goulding, Muse, Two Door Cinema Club and Coldplay. He also wrote and produced three tracks on Lady Gaga’s ‘Artpop’ album and supported her on a huge U.S. arena tour in 2013. That same year, he made history as the first electronic artist to perform a full production show on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange as part of an event for young entrepreneurs.
