After dropping his new EP last week, Boulder native, Fiyah descended on Denver with an hour and a half set of pure, well, fire. Donning a glowing grin and tentacle like locks dripping down his shoulders, Brendan Leis is nothing short of a magical talent to experience behind the booth. His infectious energy spreads through the room as his sound thumps through the Function 1’s that seemingly vibrate the walls of The Black Box.
A constant stream of positive vibes, through sound, dancing, laughter and friends. The bass community of Denver welcomes this up and comer with open ears.
Mixing throughout multiple genres, anything from space bass, bleeps and bloops and even some of your favorite mainstream -ish mixed in. Getting down to Stupid by Gucci while also grinding to it being mixed into some fire womps is sicker than your average. Not to mention soaking up some Mersiv music with their collaboration, Follow Me and even throwing out a remix of one of his own songs, done up and flipped by fellow Boulder up and comer, Patches O’malley.
All the fun was only just beginning as Fiyah closed his incredible set and G-Space took the stage to warm us up for a surprise b2b2b set with fellow creators, DMVU and Patches O’malley. It is truly always a family event at Submissions Electronic Tuesdays and we look forward to many more amazing nights like this one was!!
If you missed out on Tuesday’s show, be sure to catch up with Fiyah and Patches O'malley at 'The Hill Block Party', going down on September 22nd in Boulder. It’s a free event and should be an amazing day with a ton of treats for your bass needs.
See you next week @ The Black Box Submission Tuesdays, for our friends, Beak Nasty!
