Denver Goes Off The Deep End

The Shark Squad is all set to take over the Ogden Theatre in Denver, Colorado for two unforgettable evenings this Friday and Saturday February 10th and 11th. Sam Vogel, better known by his stage name Jauz, has innovated the electronic house scene with a hybrid bass house style unlike anything in the scene. Known to put on some of the most energetic sets around, Jauz has been enjoying a meteoric rise to stardom racking up over 400k followers on Soundcloud alone. Stopping by Denver on his “Off the Deep End” tour, the bass capital has long been hoping Jauz to stop by Colorado for the past year. Joined by up and coming trap star Aazar and local producers Aviva and Covex, these two nights are set to be ones for the record books.

Collaborating with huge names such as Marshmello, San Holo, and Diplo, this diverse superstar has shown time and time again that he’s able to take on just about any genre in the game. Jauz has also tackled remixes of some of the biggest tracks to date, putting a melodic twist on tracks such as Porter Robinson’s “Language” and the Chainsmoker’s “Closer” along with a future bass flip of Passion Pit’s “Sleepyhead” that reached the #1 spot on the Hype Machine charts just days after its released.

Jauz’s sound combines heavy hitting bass lines with stellar drum work to create an upbeat, grimy, yet euphoric experience unlike any other artist in the game. Although Jauz came up in the scene with a unique bass house style, he’s recently been experimenting with drum n’ bass and melodic bass hybrids to create tracks unique to any popular genre in the electronic scene today. Joined by a trap heavy set from Aazar, this show is sure to be full of bass from start to finish. Highlighted by one of the biggest tracks of the year "Pop Dat", Aazar has established himself as one of the hardest hitting trap producers in the game.

Tickets to this event are still on sale, and for an incredibly reasonable price of just $27 before fees, this event is well worth the experience it’s sure to provide. Artists such as Jauz have built a brand off their live show and with tons of unreleased material up his sleeve, this show is not one you want to miss. Doors are set to open at 9 PM and with so much talent on one bill, I strongly suggest making your way out soon thereafter in order to enjoy this event to it’s fullest potential. This show is also 16+ so regardless of your age, the shark squad is sure to welcome anyone into their family for an unforgettable weekend.
