The Savage Tour Takes Over Boulder

Ethan Snoreck, better known by his stage name Whethan, has quickly become one of the most well known up and coming electronic acts in the scene. With over 90k followers on Soundcloud alone, the 17 year old superstar has displayed an incredible amount of diversity to compliment releases on Future Classic and Big Beat Records along with collaborations with huge names such as Flux Pavillion and unreleased recordings with the likes of Skrillex and Tiesto. Currently embarking on his first headlining tour, Whethan stops by Colorado for one of the most highly anticipated shows of the year this Thursday February 23rd at the Fox Theatre in Boulder. Joined by Melvv and Oklio, this lineup is jam packed with talent from start to finish.

Initially hitting the scene with a massive remix of Missingo’s “XE3”, Snoreck quickly distinguished himself as one of the most promising acts of 2016. With tracks such as “Can’t Hide” landing sync placement in places as the NBA, it’s no surprise that each and every release has generated millions of plays on both Soundcloud and Spotify. Whether it be an upbeat future house groove exemplified by his remix of Elohim’s “Sensations” or a massive banger as seen in his remix of Opia’s “Falling”, you can never know what Whethan has up his sleeve. Complimented by an up to date taste on some of the hottest tracks in the game, you can expect this show to be nothing short of spectacular. His remix contest of “Savage” has generated thousands of unique ideas and along with multiple collaborations with the fashionable Oliver Tree, it’s safe to say 2017 is set to be Snoreck’s biggest year to date.

Joined by the likes of one of the most unique producers around, Whethan is set to team up with fellow Chicago native Melvv for an unforgettable evening. Displaying a chilled out yet captivating vibe, Melvv has continually exceeded expectations with releases such as “Not Me” and “Goodbye” to create a sonic atmosphere that is both relaxed yet euphoric on a multitude of levels. His last performance in Boulder with Jai Wolf was hands down one of the best opening sets the Fox Theatre has seen in quite sometime and it’s safe to say this Thursday is sure to be no different. Along with an opening set from Boulder native Oklio (formerly Deluxe), this show is not one you want to miss.

Tickets to this event are still available for an incredibly short time and for only $15.50 before fees, I strongly suggest grabbing yours while supplies last. This event is almost certain to land a sell out and with so much hype surrounding this young superstar, you don’t want to miss your chance to catch such a talented producer in a venue as intimate as the Fox Theater. Doors open at 8:30 and I strongly encourage getting there right at 9 in order to enjoy this night to it’s fullest potential. After all, it’s not everyday that you get to enjoy some of the scenes fasting grossing producers for under $20.
