If you haven’t listened to any of Sam Gellaitry’s music, it’s certainly time to start. Stemming from Stirling, Scotland, Sam Gellaitry is one of the youngest rising producers in the game (he was born in 1997 – *gasps* I know).
His debut EP, Short Stories, was released in February through Soulection, a record label based in Los Angeles, California. “I aimed to pay homage to the energies and genres which have helped me get this far as well as incorporate as many ideas as I could into the one track,” Sam Gellaitry expressed to THE FADER. His tracks are not only innovative, but incorporate a profusion of sounds that are percussive, synth-filled, and trap-esque.
With supporting acts Milky.WAV and re:alixir, don’t miss Sam Gellaitry’s show at Cervantes' Other Side on April 24. Tickets are available through Ticketfly for $18.41. Grab a ticket and get ready for a musical escapism.
