Colorado is eager to party with Amber Giles at Fox Theatre on April 5th. Who is Amber Giles you ask? Well, you may know her as yung Mija and she is currently on her “sick.af v2” tour. Originating from Phoenix, Arizona and relocating to the bustling city of Downtown Los Angeles, Mija began DJing when she lived with friends who were into DJing and played a few tracks at one of their shows. A career in music wasn’t something Mija had planned on; it was more or less something she came into due to the influence of her friends. Remarkably, she is now signed to OWSLA, a record label founded by Skrillex. Although Mija’s sets are predominantly deep house, she incorporates other elements into her singles such as trap in “Crank It”.

Playing at a local venue, the openers for the show are local as well: Sloane Peterson from Denver, Colorado and Kommon Interests from Boulder, Colorado.
