Illenium Returns to Philadelphia

The name Illenium has quickly caught on as one of the biggest names in electronic music. With remixes racking up hundreds of millions of plays to compliment over 270k Soundcloud followers, this melodic dubstep/future bass producer is nothing short of phenomenal. Along with launching a new line of merchandise AND a new record with Mr. Suicide Sheep entitled Kasaya Records, 2016 has been marked by exponential growth in every aspect of the music industry. Following the release of his debut album “Ashes”, we were lucky enough to get not one, but two nationwide tours encompassing over 7 states in the past month alone. Complimented by a brand new remix album featuring names like Just a Gent, k?d, and Synchronize, these refreshing remixes open up a whole new realm of possibilities to be played during his performance. For Philadelphia fans, his return couldn’t come at a better time as Illenium teams up with Marshmello for a night that is sure to leave you feeling as euphoric and inspired as ever. The Fillmore has been regarded by many as the nicest venue in Philadelphia and with a brand new feel to compliment a classic ballroom, this venue is the perfect home for these superstars to take over.

Joined by up and coming melodic house producer Speaker of the House, this event is sure to be jam packed with talent from start to finish. Taking place on Friday, December 23rd, this show is the perfect way to treat your friends and significant others with a night they won’t soon forget. Illenium has been teasing a new album on previous tour dates and combined with some of the years biggest tracks mixed to perfection, this set is sure to be one of the best you’ll see in quite some time.

Although this is a direct support act for Illenium, expect to be treated to some of the most aesthetically appealing visuals you’ve seen at an electronic show to date. Paired with classics like his remix of Dawn Golden’s “All I Want”, Illenium has constructed a flawless set that will leave you in utter shock. During his sold out 2 night run in his hometown of Denver, Illenium dropped Luca Lush's sensational remix of "Cinema", Graves & Rickyxsan's "The Plague", Flux & NGHTMRE's "Feel Your Love", LOUDPVCK's "Click Clack", and a VIP on Vincent's remix of "U Don't Know" along with numerous other hits from producers like Getter, Marshmello, and more to provide a unique taste of some of the heat you can definitely expect to hear come Friday night.

Unfortunately, tickets to this event are in extremely high demand. If you haven’t been lucky enough to snag yours, I highly recommend heading over to Craigslist or a 3rd party re-sale site like Stubhub to grab yours before the prices skyrocket day of the show. I can assure you that this show is well worth paying above face value and although I don’t condone scalping, I definitely condone getting to see two of the biggest names in electronic music share the stage for one of the biggest events to come to Philadelphia all winter.

New Illenium Merch:

Doors are set to open at 8PM and I urge you to get there soon after in order to enjoy this night to its fullest potential. The Fillmore is sure to be as packed as ever and if you want to secure a good spot, it’s crucial to arrive early. The music is sure to be nothing short of amazing and with so much talent on one bill, it seems illogical not to enjoy the whole event.
