The Dominican Republic’s premier arts and music event, Electric Paradise, announces a multi-genre lineup that will grace the shores of what is considered to be one of the greatest destinations of the world, Cap Cana in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on December 17, 2016. Ranging from dance music’s hottest duo The Chainsmokers, to hip hop legend Snoop Dogg, to Latin superstar Juanes, Electric Paradise brings acts from all areas of the musical spectrum together for one perfect day in the tropics.
In addition to The Chainsmokers, highlights on the Dance stage include tropical house feel- good DJ/producer Matoma, Grammy award winner Zedd, and French genre-bending producer DJ Snake. Joining Bomba Estéreo, Bob Moses and Snoop Dogg on the Live stage are two groups who walk the line between live band and electronic producers— the UK’s Hot Chip and San Francisco-based PillowTalk—as well as international acts Juanes from Colombia and Cultura Profética from Puerto Rico. Finally, the Circoloco stage features Hot Creations label head Jamie Jones, the ever-playful Damian Lazarus, and original Circoloco residents System of Survival, to name a few.
Hailed as “the new & up and coming festival” after its’ inaugural year in 2014, Electric Paradise continues to exceed expectations. This year, the festival will also offer a food fair, technology expo, story-telling, natural adventures, and art installations highlighting the location’s natural beauty.
