Safe in Sound Takes over the 1st Bank Center

One of the nations most highly anticipated electronic tours is set to take over the coveted 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, CO on Friday, November 4th. Safe in Sound has been taking the nation by storm year after year by booking some of the most sought after acts from around the globe. This year, Safe in Sound Colorado will be hosting performances from Borgore, Zomboy, Just a Gent, Laxx, Decadon, and Paws. Combining some of the biggest locals names with powerful electronic legends, this years show is sure to be one for the record books.

Fresh off his newest collective Buygore, Borgore has continued to brand himself as one of the freshest acts in the game. Combining heavy hitting dub and trap influences with his high energy stage presence, Borgore has been known by many to bring one of the most exhilarating performances out of anyone in the game. Racking up over 3.6 million followers on Soundcloud alone, tracks such as “Forbes” featuring G-Eazy perfectly exemplify the diversity Borgore portrays time and time again.

Speaking of diversity, Zomboy has been killing the game from the moment he entered the scene. With what has been said to be the best set of Safe in Sound in 2015, Zomboy has spent the past year busting out anthem after anthem, exemplified by his remix of Bro Safari’s “Follow”. Building off of his dubstep roots, Zomboy regularly steps into the trap realm to deliver some of the biggest tracks played by acts like Skrillex, Flux Pavillion, RL Grime, and more. As a master on the decks, Zomboy has been known to keep the party going for each and every second he’s on stage. You can expect Zomboy to get somewhere close to 50 tracks in during his 60 minute set, a testament that is nothing short of DJ perfection.

Now on the other hand of the electronic spectrum, Safe in Sound is also hosting Just a Gent’s first ever Colorado performance. The future bass prodigy has been crushing the Soundcloud game with songs such as “Heavy as Heartbreak”, and “Rolling Dice”. His co-creation of a sub genre entitled “Love Trap” swept the internet by storm as he collaborated with other Hegemon acts such as Skrux, Saturn, and Kasbo to deliver some of the most unique sounds to date. It’s safe to say that Just a Gent helped kick off the future bass trend and there’s truly no one who does the genre better justice. His debut album “Stories to Tell” has been regarded by many as one of the best albums of 2016.

With over 123k Soundcloud followers and millions of plays on multiple tracks, you may recognize the name from NGHTMRE’s huge remix of “Limelight”. For the fans who have patiently been waiting for this set, I can assure you Just a Gent has a number of special surprises up his sleeve. Be sure to keep an ear out for an unreleased remix of Colorado’s very own Illenium’s “Fortress” come show time.

As far as local talent goes, one of Colorado’s biggest up and coming acts is sure to kick off the night on the right note with a bunch of unreleased material. Donnie Miller, better known by his stage name Decadon, has been crushing scene with direct support performances for Marshmello, Savoy, and Sound Remedy in the past year alone. Combining melodic dubstep roots with grungy synths and room filling 808s, Decadon has been known to light up every room he plays. It’s no surprise that virtually every show Decadon plays ends up selling out, and with such a talented lineup in store, I wouldn’t expect Safe in Sound to be any different.

Weaving in an organic feel with his electric guitar solos, this performance is not one you are going to want to miss. Die hard Decadon fans can also look forward to a new wave of visuals that is sure to keep you engaged and energized. Be sure to head over to his Facebook page ASAP for your chance to win a pair of free tickets.
