5 Must See Acts at Mystik Sanctuary

For the first time ever, Mystik Sanctuary, the largest outdoor EDM festival in Oklahoma, begins  its two-night appearance September 5th and 6th at Oklahoma City Downtown Airpark. For the debut of this festival, Mystik Sanctuary is bringing the bass, the funky, and emotion all from the headliners; Bassnectar, Zeds Dead, Krewella, and Big Gigantic. Besides the heavy headliner lineup, the other artists released so far are all epically talented, whether they are new and upcoming or have been in the scene for ten plus years. With the exception of the headliners,  there are five artists announced so far you cannot miss.

5. Zaxx

As Mystik is a new festival, they needed to bring a young, bass heavy and new upcoming artist. They meet this need by bringing Zaxx. His heavy and well known track “Annihilate” is definitely going to bring the crowd to a new level.  Stomping around the grounds with Zaxx’s newer original “Zilla”, the crowd will rage hard! This young producer, only 17, is sure to bring a unique set at this festival with his hard house bass tracks. Coming from Staten Island, New York, he will definitely not cease to impress with his music production and should not be a missed act if you are attending Mystik Sanctuary!

4. Cash Cash

Yet another artist also from New York, a very talented, radiating positive vibes, funky EDM group Cash Cash.  Their Previous EP “Lightning” has given the group a lot of attention, but not as much as their beautiful EP “Take Me Home” reaching the hearts of millions and broadening their music variety. Having “Take Me Home” be a major hit and be played by all kinds of DJ’s, Cash Cash has most definitely received a major audience and should be expected to have a beautiful set at Mystic. This is why I believe they are the second artist that should not be missed.

3. Caked Up

Another must see act is a fairly new duo that became well known not only from their awesome twerk produced trap electro beats but also on Oscar Wylde’s Vine page. This outgoing, energetic, and party-enthused duo Caked Up has always gotten the crowd amped-up and projected the party hard vibes. Putting out more remixes and well produced originals such as “Bang your Head,” new off of Buygore Records, Caked Up is a sure energetic time and gets the blood flowing and should be a good leg workout for Mystik attendees.

2. Beats Antique

Bringing funky fresh beats, the high hype, Beats Antique is playing at Mystik Sanctuary. An Oakland based trio that breaks down electro brass funk into groovy glitch dubstep. Although the majorities of these artists playing at Mystik are great producers and perform live amazingly, Beats Antique takes it to a new level by playing unique tunes and a different set every time.  They get the crowd into a funky state of mind and makes them move their body in staggering ways. Along with this heavy line up of artists, Beats Antique is a must see!

1. GRiZ

Smashing the funk at Mystik Sanctuary is Griz, and no matter where the talented jazzy producers play, they are a must see every time. Breaking barriers in the EDM scene, Griz brings a unique, groovy, and filthy set along with very positive vibes projecting from the saxophone and guitar. Their previous EP “Rebel Area” brings the groove, the bass, and the emotional such as “Hard Times.” The lyrics and the production of that song reach and connect to many of his fans and have a secure spot as a classic track in their heart for ever. Griz is a touching and mind alternating experience that just hits everyone’s musical dance bone and can get everyone grooving. Whenever, and whomever is playing during the same time as Griz will have to be missed for a period of time because Griz is a must see! All artists lined up on Mystik Sanctuary are great producers and deserve recognition but these five including the headliners are going to be the memorable acts of this Festival.
