On February 8, British DJ Tut Tut Child released his new single “I Can’t”, which was his first bold attempt at a house track.
While his discography primarily consists of electronic and D&B tracks, he decided to explore new genres as any restless artist does. It’s fair to say he did a great job with this track. As usual, he made a great use of bass in this song, in terms of both drum and synthetic bass. The kick bass is a nice, full sound, yet it is aggressive at the same time. The synthetic bass kicks in at the drop with an energetic, distorted sound that combines with the drum bass to create a really awesome sound for dancing. On top of that, the hi-hat and vocals also create a nice groove.
Previous to this, Tut Tut Child released an electronic EP featuring vocalists such as Danyka Nideau, Rachel Hirons, and Augustus Ghost. All of his music has been released through the Monstercat record label and is available on Soundcloud, iTunes, Spotify, and other major music outlets. He has only performed live twice before in Europe and unfortunately does not have any upcoming performances. Regardless, he is a talented artist and continues to deliver quality music.
