Guess what our favorite season is? If you guessed festival season, you are 110% correct. With over a dozen music festivals frequently happening, check out this list to find your next destination.

Let’s start off with festivals with passes already on sale. Yes, I said already on sale aka go grab a pass before it sells out! No one likes FOMO. It’s kind of like that one time your friends invited you out for ice cream, but you waited too long to reply so you didn’t get any ice cream. Go get your ice cream.

BUKU Music + Art Project

Hello New Orleans, Louisiana *insert masquerade mask emoji*. This two-day festival will take place in the mystic Mardi Gras World. Get lost in a world of music and art on March 11-12, 2016. Early bird passes are sold out, but grab a general admission pass for $197.59 before prices increase. Lineup has yet to be announced. This is an 18+ event.

ULTRA Miami Music Festival

Hello Miami, Florida *insert sunglasses emoji*. Did someone say ocean breeze and sunshine? This three-day festival will be held on March 18-20, 2016. Early bird passes are sold out, but grab a general admission pass for $397.79 before prices rise. Payment plans consisting of five installments are also available. An initial installment of $95.53 will be followed by four installments of $85.58 due on the 15th of each month. Lineup has yet to be announced. This is an 18+ event.

Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas

Hello Las Vegas, Nevada *insert sun emoji*. Even though it’s over a hundred degrees outside in June, you won’t want to miss Insomniac’s most prevalent festival. With stages larger than the size of a football field, you’ll experience everything from strobe and laser lights that paint the electric sky to heavy bass that shake the blues loose. If you’re lucky enough, you’ll find Kaskade playing one of his redux sets from a life-size moving boom box. This three-day festival will be held on June 17-19, 2016. Early owl and later owl passes are sold out, but grab a sleepy owl pass for $429.99. Payment plans consisting of five installments are also available. An initial installment of $124.50 will be followed by four installments of $86 due on the 15th of each month. Lineup has yet to be announced. This is an 18+ event.

Shambhala Music Festival

Hello Salmo River Ranch *insert blushing happy face emoji*. This four-day festival will take place in the resplendent territory of British Columbia, Canada onAugust 5-8, 2016. Imagine walking down a dirt road and looking up at colossal evergreen trees that encircle you. Smelling the anticipation in the air, you look down and walk through the entrance of The Farm. Welcome to Shambhala, a special, family-owned festival. With six stages and one hidden stage, lose yourself in the music as you jam barefoot on a natural sand dance floor and feel the bass consume you. Don’t miss your chance to fall in shambalove with Shambhala. Extra early bird and early bird passes are sold out, but grab a regular pass for $285.76 USD. Each pass includes tent camping and free parking. This is a 19+ event.

Mysteryland

Hello Bethel Woods, New York *insert bird emoji*. This three-day festival will take place on June 10-13, 2016. Mysteryland is the world’s longest running electronic music festival. Mysteryland takes you on a musical journey that incorporates culture, arts, theatre, and street performers. What better way to experience a festival than on the original Woodstock Grounds? Loyalty passes went on sale on November 9th, but an announcement for a general public on-sale date has not been made. I will share general public on-sale information once it is released!

Bonnaroo

Hello Manchester, Tennessee *insert farm emoji*. This four-day festival typically takes place towards the end of June. In 2016, Bonnaroo will be celebrating its fifteenth year of magic. Experience the magic as you run down a waterslide with a stranger you just met or close your eyes to a euphoric set that connects with your soul. 2015 presale took place around the end of November. 

Spring Awakening

Hello Chicago, Illinois *insert pizza emoji*. This three-day festival typically takes place in June. In the heart of Chicago, rain or shine, experience sets from some of the biggest names in the electronic dance music industry. 2015 presale took place around the beginning of December.        

Electric Forest

Hello Rothbury, Michigan *insert tree emoji*. This three-day festival typically takes place towards the end of June. Close your eyes, breathe in the fresh air, and feel the shadows of the trees towering over you. Welcome to Sherwood Forest, home of Electric Forest. Electric Forest is one of those festivals where you must come in with no plans and let the forest guide you. Make time to enjoy each passionate set from your favorite disc jockeys, but also time to take in the enchanting aura of the forest. 2015 passes went on sale around mid-December.
