After the devastating cancellation of Camp Bisco last year, no one was sure if the festival was going to return in 2015. Founders of the festival, The Disco Biscuits, released a statement last year saying, “After much deliberation and tireless efforts to make Camp happen this year, we had to make the tough decision to take a year off. We will be coming back in 2015 with an amazing event that will cater to the needs, wants and wishes of Camp Bisco’s most faithful and valued attendees!” Well, it is safe to say that The Disco Biscuits truly came through with their promise this year!
The past 12 years Camp Bisco had been held at the Indian Lookout Country Club near Albany, New York, however this year it is moving to a new home. The festival is to be held at Montage Mountain, a ski resort in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This new location looks immensely more fun and offers countless more activities and amenities for guests! There is a waterpark on the grounds, where guests can frequent the swimming pool, water rides, the lazy river, and slides, while still being able to enjoy the musical aspect of the festival! There is also a regulation sized volleyball court and a zip line to add to the sheer fun of the weekend! While all of these activities are appealing, the lineup for Camp Bisco is the real crown jewel of the festival!
Throughout the years Camp Bisco has strived to provide guests with an overwhelmingly great lineup and this year is no exception. The eye catching headliners include artists like Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, STS9, Big Gigantic, Tipper, Atmosphere, and of course, The Disco Biscuits. While these renowned artists evoke an innate sense of yearning among fans, the small print artists are just as spectacular. Exmag, Slow Magic, Cherub, Zoogma, and Trippy Turtle are a few of the artists on the bill, sure to make the festival an inevitable success! You can’t go wrong with the unrivaled combination of camping, a myriad of outdoor activities, and exceptional live music, so get your tickets now to Camp Bisco!
