5 Must Sees @ FRDM Fest

Get excited ladies and gentlemen, FRDM Fest is right around the corner! With three stages and a multitude of talent, here are five must sees.

Coyote Kisses
Let’s take a time machine back with Joe Sussingham and Bryce Bresnan, better known as Coyote Kisses. Sussingham and Bresnan began making music together their senior year of high school in Lakeland, Florida. Originally aiming to start a band, their focused shifted to creating electronic dance music. Over the years, their sound has evolved; singles such as “Illusions” and “Sunny Day” exhibit a fusion of future bass and electro-pop.

Producer and DJ, FALCONS, is based in Los Angeles, California. His Fool’s Gold Records debut EP, Terra, showcase his ability to blend hip-hop, R&B, and electronic dance music into one. His euphonious lead single, “Aquafina”, has nearly two million plays on Soundcloud and has received support from artists such as Q-Tip, a member of A Tribe Called Quest.

California natives, Joseph Chung and Joseph Abella, are the producers and DJs behind ARMNHMR. What are the odds that they would end up sharing a first name? The release of their Infinite EP in May showcases their future bass and trap sound. Be sure to keep an eye out for this duo. Their remix of Chainsmokers’ “Inside Out” was played by the Chainsmokers themselves at EDC Las Vegas 2016.

Louis Vivet
Louis Vivet is an electronic dance music and art project formed by Nicolas II and Aria S. The duo won Insomniac’s Discovery Project for Escape: All Hallow’s Eve. Singles such as “Best Thing” and “Save Tonight” showcase their house sound with progressive house and pop influences. However, the two “don't believe in genres”, they “believe in making great music with influences drawn from a multitude of art sources including music, fashion, and visual art”.

Corey Hurley, or COLOUR VISION, is a producer and DJ stemming from San Diego, California. His major breakthrough was when he was picked up by Audiopaxx, a touring and management agency based in Sydney, Australia. Singles such “Pina Colada” and “Nite Swim” showcase his tropical house and disco sound. He’ll have you grooving by the waterfront.
